there's a hashtag i started. a qualification. an excuse.
i moved from france to new york when i was 8 or 9. french was my first language.
i loved wordplay and love it still. in france it's wordplay, in the US it was dad jokes and puns. not the same respect for them, but i love the art just the same.
so some poems i would qualify by saying i wrote them with this voice.. even after the fact.
a poet who's second language was english. so ESLiot was born.
