TL: "I booked this campaign promoting American Idol Season 9, for which I came up with all these songs as a subway busker. They liked the character so much that they book-ended the promo with him, and expanded the promo into a national print campaign. With all this, I was able to experience the whole American Idol journey, without having to actually be on the show!" (laughs)
