as many people i know (friends, acquaintances) go into law, i see a complete connection between the need to present your case and the increasing spirituality in the us. the way our system is set plays into the christian idea that you will stand and be judged. this judge will decide based on how information is presented whether we were good or bad. what also plays into this is the fact that we only stand in front of a judge when we have broken a rule; fits perfectly withthe interpreted notion that by existing we have broken the golden rule and are sinful. That by coming into existence we leave the garden of eden to become mortal and experience is completely similar to the vedic notion that god wanted to experience god, so god came into existence, set up boundaries so that god could see touch hear smell taste where god ends. to see touch hear taste smell the fruit of knowledge we are subject to a beginning and an end. when i hear people repeat that story (eden) and stop there, or when people take any enlightening fact and do not explore it, it is like the fool looking at the finger when the person is pointing to the sky. anyway, the law thing might just be for money, but i find it an amazing coincidence, and by coincidence i mean a co-inciding (never by accident).
